Mitutoyo Dial .01 starSolid and preciseJuly 27 Used a Swiss spi 2000 plastic dial caliper for years, and its good. Wanted this one to use for mounting cartridge headspace gauge so wanted a steel one. Wow, its so beefy, yet precise, as compared with my swiss. While Ill retain use of the lightweight swiss, metric, this one in decimal is a keeper. Very happy with it. The green dial plays a little with my older eyes, but Ill get used to it. Wouldve gotten a std white dial one over this color, but the price for this new green one was about half price, so ya, itll work just fine for my need. stofferlbs
